Hi, everyone! I’m Wendy Wang. This is my new blog for the Alzheimer’s patients and their carers. The name of the blog “Beyond Our Memories” comes from a documentary about dementia “Beyond Memory”.
Almost all the Alzheimer’s patients have problems of their memory-beginning with loss of short-term, and eventually lose all of them. That would be a sorrow for themselves, as well as for us, who love them. My grandma got Alzheimer’s several years ago. So that I can understand what the carers feel about a disease that cannot be cured.
This blog is a place for stories, news, new technologies…anything inspiring about the disease. As I’m doing a research project on Alzheimer’s home care at the same time, I’ll also write something about the progress of my research.
